Psychology for emotional growth & improved functioning

At Emily Bosman Psychology, I offer evidence-based psychological services designed to help you better understand yourself, build self-acceptance, and develop healthier ways to approach life.

By combining proven methods with thoughtful, individualised care, I support adolescents and adults in navigating challenges, identifying their needs, breaking old patterns, and creating positive, lasting changes in their lives.

Develop the tools you need to navigate life’s challenges

Wellbeing is not one-size-fits-all. While some experiences are universal - grief, worry, shame, relationship difficulties - your experience will be coloured by your own story, personality and coping responses.

Therapy should be designed to your needs. Whether this means regular sessions or the occasional check-in; in-person or online. While therapy is definitely work, and as a psychologist I both support and challenge my clients, the best therapy is therapy you attend and are engaged with. We’ll work together to identify where you are in life, where you’re getting stuck, how your brain works and how therapy can best help you. For some people, this means working on practical strategies to help them in day-to-day life - at school, work or in relationships. For others, it means delving deeper into their history to uncover why they think, feel and act the way they do, process past experiences, and break unhelpful life patterns.

How can I better cope with what is happening in my day-to-day life?
