About Emily Bosman Psychology

Psychological therapy is an active process.

Psychological therapy involves listening, but it is more than that. A good psychologist keeps up-to-date on research, and combines evidence-based practice with supportive counselling, assessment, case formulations and treatment plans.

Research shows that the most important factor in successful therapy is the relationship between therapist and client. Building trust is essential. My goal is to support you while also challenging you to grow, without pushing you beyond what you can cope with.

People I work with

I’ve worked with clients of all ages. My focus is on working with teenagers, young adults, and adults. I thoroughly enjoy working with neurodivergent clients, particularly autistic people and those with ADHD. I conduct autism and ADHD assessments for people aged 16+, with a special interest in late diagnoses and complex cases. This includes working with individuals who have prior mental health diagnoses, high abilities, or trauma histories.

Qualifications
